The North Daviess Cougars entered Friday’s game with Linton-Stockton with a perfect 4-0 record and had outscored foes 158-33. The problem for the Cougars though is they had not played a team as good as the Miners.

Michael “Mike” Eugene Lannan, age 78, of Linton, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at Saint Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born on February 24, 1942, in Loogootee Indiana, the son of Sam and Dola Lannan. He loved farming and raising sheep and was an avid business man in the town of Linton. Mike loved the Lord, was involved at Saint Peter’s Church, and loved life, his wife and family.
