According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s office, Lieutenant William Snead was on patrol on Wednesday at noon when he noticed a suspicious vehicle on Mill Street in Shelburn. After running the license plate, the deputy determined the municipal plate listed as stolen from Marion County, IN. Snead conducted a traffic stop. During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the vehicle has also been reported stolen in a separate incident in Marion County...

According to an announcement issued by Pastor J.D Rose of Saron United Church of Christ in Linton, all in-house worship and in-person activities will be suspended until at least Jan. 17 of next year. John E. "Choo Choo" Hugunin, age 67, of Linton, passed away at 3:49 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Linton on Nov. 5, 1953, the son of James H. & Genevia (Harp) Hugunin. He was a graduate of North Daviess High School and Ivy Tech Community College. ...
