CARE Inc. gets set to host Polar Plunge in Jasonville

Midland’s CAnine REscue–CARE Inc. will be hosting its fourth annual Polar Plunge this year. The event will kick off on Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. outside the Jasonville Fire Department, located at 235 Cook Street. Linton resident Mildred Duzan, born in 1920, celebrated her 100 birthday on Dec. 14. Duzan was born to Louis Schroeder, who was a farmer, and Lena Sanders Schroeder, a homemaker, in Knox County.
