Wendell Duane Foster, 82, currently of Winchester,passed away Tuesday morning, April 13, 2021 at Reid Health of Richmond. He was born July 31, 1938 at home, near Liberty Center in Wells County, the son of Ray and Heloise (Jackson) Foster, both preceding him in death. He was a 1956 graduate of Liberty Center High School in Wells County. Besides Wells County, residences included Ridgeville for 15 years, Indianapolis 15 years and Worthington 20 years... -

PACE taking applications for STEM Camp scholarships

Pace Community Action Agency, Inc, (PACE) is expanding its STEM Camp scholarship program to include girls and boys from Daviess, Greene, Knox and Sullivan Counties. According to the agency, the camps provide hands-on technology activities for youth. Camp options vary from day to overnight. Ivy Tech scholarships available for CNC machinist career training

The Terre Haute campus of Ivy Tech Community College is now offering two funding sources to help individuals prepare for in-demand machinist careers. Those who are eligible for Indiana’s Next Level Jobs program can earn a tuition-free certificate or technical certificate in Machine Tool Technology.
