Donald Robert Carnahan, 79, of Carlisle and Lake Wales, Fla. passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his residence in Lake Wales. He was born February 18, 1941 in Indiana to the late Robert W Carnahan and Ruth Mix Carnahan. Donald was a farmer and a member of Impact Church of Lake Wales. The Greene County Veterans Council, a group that meets monthly at Autumn Trace Assisted Living in Linton, exists solely to assist Greene County’s 2,700 veterans. The many ways in which the council helps veterans are through transportation to the V.A. A group of local students became a part of the elite after they were each awarded the $10,000 Brown Scholarship.
