Wednesday morning marked the first time Phil Harris Golf Course has had a new golf pro in over three decades. Chris Taylor started his new job, as the position was ‘too good to pass up.’ “I’ve always been interested in being a golf pro but I’ve never wanted to be away from home to do it,” Taylor said. “I’ve always liked living in Linton. So when this opportunity came up, I was definitely interested in trying to become a pro and trying to stay home. It’s the best of both worlds.”...
