Tyler Snapp, 37, of Farmersburg passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born on April 10, 1984 in Terre Haute the son of Kevin Snapp and Pam Flynn. Tyler graduated from Sullivan High School in 2002 and was attending Ivy Tech for his associate's degree. He worked at Brampton Brick as a kiln operator for several years. Eslinger named to All-State team, Franklin and Gennicks on junior team

The Indiana Football Coaches Association placed a trio of Miners on their Class 2A teams Monday. Gabe Eslinger made the Senior All-State team as a linebacker. You have to emphasize the position with Eslinger as he played a variety of roles on the field for the Miners in his four years. He led the team in tackles this past season as the Miners went 10-1, including an undefeated regular season. Eslinger also had a team-high 14 tackles for loss this season...
