Cardinal volleyball wins back-to-back games (High School Sports ~ 09/01/22)
After a 1-10 start, Bloomfield (3-10) earned sweeps of Cloverdale and North Central Tuesday and Wednesday. The win over North Central was its first in SWIAC as the Cards are now 1-2 in league action. Bloomfield swept Cloverdale 25-14, 25-15, 25-20 and earned a 25-18, 28-26, 25-23 win at North Central. Third Annual ‘Old West Day’ to circle the wagons in Jasonville Sept. 10 (Local News ~ 09/01/22)
An event in its third year, “Old West Day” will return to Hanna Field in Jasonville from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 10. Researchers have found a chemical linked to cancer, also the main ingredient in the world’s most popular weedkiller, in more than 80% of Americans, according to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study.
