Linton man facing felony burglary charge after alleged theft of dog from ex-spouse

A 35-year-old Linton man, Thomas A. Jerrels, faces preliminary charges of Level 4 Felony burglary of a dwelling and Class A misdemeanor theft after a January 24 incident. According to a probable cause affidavit filed January 30 by Linton Police Officer JR Blazier, a female complainant contacted the Linton Police Department on the afternoon of January 24 to report an ex-spouse had entered her home in her absence and stolen her dog, later allegedly sending several text messages with photos of himself and the animal to the victim.. ...
