The Linton Police Department responded on Thursday to one follow-up investigation, four information-only requests, two utility after-hours requests, three vandalism reports, one brush/fire, two loitering reports, three property damage accidents, one funeral escort, two medical/illnesses, one animal complaint, one suspicious person/vehicle, one harassment complaint, one reckless driver, two theft-others, one fingerprint-miscellaneous, one domestic dispute and two ordinance violations. The department also had one assist to another agency, nine extra patrols and one traffic stop.
€ May 23 - Nikki Spinks, 40 NW F St., reported that $530 was stolen from a basket sitting by the TV in her living room. According to the report, the house was left unlocked when the incident occurred and nothing else was missing. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
€ June 7 - Rosalic Campbell, 40 SE E St., reported that a locked bike was stolen off her front porch. The bike is blue and white in color with spray-painted silver pegs. Patrol Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
€ June 14 - A one-car accident occurring at 10:53 p.m. resulted after Delbert J. Enlow, 18, of Bicknell, was traveling on Price Road in a 1992 Chevrolet when he passed a vehicle, hit loose gravel and skidded off the road into a ditch striking a gas meter. No damage or injuries were reported. Patrol Officer Heath Murray was the investigating officer.
