The Linton Police Department responded over the weekend to two title checks, two follow up investigations, 12 information only requests, one juvenile/delinquent, three vandalisms, one disorderly conduct, one transportation/documentation, one lost and found, two off road vehicle complaints, one medical/illness run, two alarms, six animal complaints, one prowler, one VIN check, four suspicious vehicles/persons, one burglary, one possible intoxicated driver, three reckless drivers, five fireworks, one theft-other, five welfare checks/concerns, one domestic dispute, one community relations and two ordinance violations. They also provided 15 extra patrols, assisted another agency once and made seven traffic stops.
* June 30 -- Donald R. Sparks, Mobile Manor, Linton, reported prescription medication taken from her residence. Nothing else was taken or disturbed, and there were no signs of pry marks or forced entry. Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is investigating the incident.
* July 1 -- Theodore Ray Mowery, 40, Linton was arrested for public intoxication and possession of marijuana by reserve officer Tim Riggleman. He was transported to Greene County jail.
