Born Jan. 16, 1950 in Bloomington, he was the son of Wilfred James and Doris Lucille (Hays) Hamm.
He was a truck driver for G.R. Young as well as a member of the Eagles in Bloomington and ABATE.
Surviving relatives include: one son Aaron D. Hamm of Bloomfield; one daughter, Carrie J. Burris of Ellettsville; his mother, Doris Lucille (Hays) Hamm of Bloomington; three sisters, Mary Drake of Hobbieville, Darleene Wells of Bloomington and Martha Hall of Solsberry, two brothers, Fred Hamm and Jeff Hamm, both of Solsberry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred James Hamm; and two brothers Frank and Jody Hamm.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Kenny Adams officiating. Burial will be at Garrison Chapel Cemetery in Bloomington.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. until the hour of services on Sunday. There will be an Eagles service Saturday evening at the funeral home
