The Linton Police Department responded Tuesday and Wednesday to one follow up investigation, five information only requests, one juvenile/delinquent, one transport/documentation, one property damage accident, two lost and found, six medical/illness runs, two alarms, two animal complaints, two suspicious vehicles/persons, one harassment complaint, one reckless driver, one theft-other, one disabled/stranded vehicle, one message delivery, one welfare check/concern, two domestic disputes, one community relations and one battery. They also made three traffic stops, provided 14 extra patrols and provided one funeral escort.
* July 3 -- Rachel Jackson, Linton, reported that the rear bumper of her vehicle was damaged while she was inside of Wal-Mart. Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is investigating the incident.
* July 4 -- An employee of the Country Porch reported a drive off theft. Patrolman Heath Murray took the report.
