The Linton Police Department responded Tuesday to one fraud, one title check, one follow up investigation, one 911 transfer, one information only request, one vandalism, one property damage accident, one lost and found, one mental case, one medical/illness run, one animal complaint, two suspicious vehicles/persons, one harassment complaint, one wanted on warrant arrest, one domestic dispute and one animal/canine removed. They also made two traffic stops and assisted another agency three times.
* July 9 -- An employee of Jim's Petro reported a drive off of $8.04. Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is investigating.
* July 10 -- Jeffery B. Winfrey, Southeast B Street, Linton, was arrested for possession of marijuana and on a Knox County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while suspended charge by Patrolman Chad Crynes.
* July 10 -- Bret Brown, Lakeside Drive, Dugger, reported a piece of abandoned rental property damage. Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is investigating.
* July 10 -- Jeromy Birchfield, Route 2, Linton, reported his wallet lost or stolen at the city park. Reserve Officer Harry Hovey took the report.
