She was born April 19, 1921 in Daviess County, the daughter of William and Ruth (Smith) Hart.
She worked at Crane NWSC during World War II and at Dearman's in Odon during her early years. She was a member of the Saron Church in Linton, a former member of the Home Economic Club, "Learn & Save," and was active with the Greene County 4-H clubs.
Survivors include her husband, Everett Nolting, to whom she was married March 28, 1954; a daughter & son-in-law, Diane and Ron Rhoten of Linton; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Debra Nolting of Linton; three brothers, Ray O. Hart and his wife, Martha, of Odon, John Hart of Odon, and Fred Hart and his wife, Janet, of Linton; four sisters, Marilyn Scott and her husband, Ray, of Epson, Betty Birt of Washington, Margaret Dailey and her husband, Ralph, of Worthington, and Zelma Helderman and her husband, Harold, of Washington, five grandchildren, Dustin Nolting, Cameron Rhoten, Annelise Nolting, Chase Rhoten and Jennifer Nolting.
She was preceded by a brother, Donald Hart; and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, Linton Chapel with Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
