Harold L. "Butch" McDonald, 57 of Elberfeld IN. passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

He was born on July 21, 1949 in Linton.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1969-1976 with overseas duty in Korea. His memberships include: four time Past Commander American Legion Post 351, where he was the present Adjunctant, 40-8 Voiture 471,VFW Post 2714, Eagles Aerie 4266. He retired from the FAA after 36 years at the Evansville Regional Airport. He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church, on Lone Tree Road in Jasonville IN.

Survivors include: his wife of 38 years, Susan (Hiatt) McDonald; daughter, Shelly and her spouse Keith Casey, son, Russle McDonald and his spouse Michaele, daughter, Diana and her spouse, Brandon Kaiser; grandchildren, Ashlee, Nick, and Noah Casey, Jesse, Lane, Mia McDonald, Kora, and Dagan Kaiser; sister, Mabel & Harold Padgett, sister, Anne and Con Passen, sister, Maxine and Steve Morse, sister, Patty and Don Jenkins; brother, Terry and Brenda Pletch, brother, Larry and Donna Pletch, sister, Debbie Corbin, sister, Vicki & Phil Henson; sister-in-law, Ethel (McDonald) White.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester McDonald; mother, Violet (Pate) McDonald; step-mother, A. Maxine McDonald; brothers, Lester "Tuffy" and Franklin D. McDonald; sisters, Mary Loraine McDonald and Delores Eikelman.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton officiated by Rev. Harry McDonald. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery in Greene County with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 351.

Visitation will on Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd and Elm Sts., Elberfeld IN. and on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home and also from 11 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
