The Linton Police Department responded on Thursday to three information only requests, two utility after-hours calls, one alcohol-related incident, three medical/illnesses, one harassment complaint, one reckless driver, four extra patrols, two burglary attempts, one animal/debris in roadway, one wanted-arrest on warrant and four traffic stops.
* June 19-- Kirk R. Sanders, 48, Linton was arrested by Patrol Officer Chad E. Crynes on a warrant stemming from a failure to appear on a driving while suspended charge. He was transported to the Greene County Jail where he remains. Bond is set at $5,000.
* June 19 -- Harold Roudebush, Worthington, reported that the building located at 43 S. First St. in Linton was broken into. The building is an abandoned store. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
* June 19-- Linda Hauck, 50 A St. NE, reported that the back door of her residence was busted open. No entry was reported. Police Chief Troy Jerrell is the investigating officer.
