Greene County Sheriff's Department Activity Log

* July 24 -- Patrick J. Moore, 45, Gosport, was arrested on a warrant by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Cook. He was released July 25 after posting $500 bond.

* July 24 -- Jeremiah Jackson, 24, Bloomfield, was arrested for battery with injury by Bloomfield Town Marshal Kenny Tharp. Bond was set at $1,000.

* July 24 -- The Greene County Sheriff's Department worked a traffic accident on State Road 54, east of Linton near the Phil Harris Golf Course. The 4:49 p.m.accident is being investigated by GCSD deputy Skylar Pittman. One person was transported to Greene County General Hospital by Greene County Ambulance Service personnel. No other details were available.
