The Linton Police Department responded Monday to two frauds, one title check, one juvenile/delinquent, one loitering complaint, one property damage accident, one lost and found, one medical/illness run, one animal complaint, one prowler, one burglary, one reckless driver, one motor vehicle theft, one domestic dispute and one battery. They made one traffic stop and assisted another agency once.
* July 23 -- Stanley Baxley, Carlisle, reported the theft of his 1987 Ford Bronco from a lot behind the N Zone. Patrol Officer Debbie McDonald is investigating the theft.
* July 24 -- Pat Taylor reported criminal mischief at her parents residence, Route 2, Linton. Yard decorations were removed from the yard and flower pots were busted. Extra patrols were requested. Patrolman Jayson Smith is investigating the incident.
* July 24 -- Brandon L. Stringer, South Main Street, reported the theft of a bicycle and two bike frames from the backyard of his residence. Patrolman Jayson Smith is investigating the incident.
* July 23-- A fire destroyed a self-check station at the Hillenbrand Fish and Wildlife property in Midland.
