The Linton Police Department responded on Monday to one information-only request, one loitering report, two property damage accidents, one medical/illness, three animal complaints, one welfare check/concern and two ordinance violations. The department also had one assist to another department and two traffic stops.
* July 30 -- Kimberly Barnes, 37, of Linton, was stopped at a red light at the NW A St. intersection when Joshua Pope, 16, of Linton, rear ended her 1999 Ford Windstar with a 1992 Ford F-150. Barnes was transported to the Greene County General Hospital after complaining of pain. Patrolman Paul Clark took the accident report.
