Linton Police Department
The Linton Police Department responded over the weekend to three follow-up investigations, six information only requests, one juvenile/delinquent, three vandalisms, one public intoxication, one disorderly conduct, one loitering complaint, four personal injury accidents, four property damage accidents, one lost and found, two medical/illness runs, one animal complaint, five suspicious vehicles/persons, one burglary, three harassment complaints, two burglary attempts, four theft-others, one animal/debris in roadway, one welfare check/concern, three domestic disputes, two domestic/neighbors and two ordinance violations. They also made 12 traffic stops, provided two funeral escorts, assisted another agency five times and provided three extra patrols.
* Aug. 4 -- A drive off of $30.01 was reported at Fast Point. Patrolman Chad Crynes took the report.
* Aug. 3 -- A drive off of $30 at BP. The subject attempted to write a check; however, was unable to because the subject's name was listed on the bad check list. The subject stated she'd return shortly with cash, but did not. Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen is investigating the incident.
* Aug. 4 -- Lawrence Bedwell, Linton, reported that his front door had been pulled until the handle on the inside of a storm door broke. Mailboxes on the entire street were damaged or had papers removed. Det. Josh Goodman is investigating the incident.
