The Linton Police Department responded Tuesday to four medical/illness runs, one alarm, three animal complaints, one burglary, one theft-other, one welfare check/concern, one domestic/neighbor, one community relations, one open door/garage, one ordinance violation and two batteries. They also made four traffic stops and provided two extra patrols.
* Aug. 6 -- Charolet Bresach, Route 3, Linton, reported a variety of items missing from her residence. Among items missing were a Dell computer, gold chain, diamond ring, wallet with $50 cash and a social security card, debit card and digital camera. Patrolman Keith McDonald took the report.
* Aug. 7 -- Lindsey Herndon, Southeast 4th Street, Linton, reported that her purse, containing a check book and prescription medication was taken from her truck. Patrol Officer Debbie McDonald took the report.
