* Aug. 10 -- Samantha E. Adams, 28, Linton, was arrested for battery with injury to a person under 14 by Linton Police Department Patrolman Paul Clark. Bond was set at $4,000.

* Aug. 10 -- John R. Brickley, 40, Indianapolis, was arrested on a warrant by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy John Fowler. He's being held without bond.

* Aug. 10 -- Andrea B. Viera, 20, Bloomington, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant. She's was released to Monroe County authorities the same day.

* Aug. 10 -- Connie S. Engler, 40, Worthington, was arrested for disorderly conduct by Linton Police Department Patrolman Heath Murray. Bond was set at $500.

* Aug. 11 -- William E. Scott, 58, Linton, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated by Linton Police Department Patrolman Paul Clark. Bond was set at $4,000.

* Aug. 11 -- Christopher A. Corns, 25, Hymera, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated by Indiana State Police Trooper Jon Yung. Bond was set at $8,000.

* Aug. 11 -- Ryan M. Tharp, 24, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant by Greene County Sheriff's Department Reserve Deputy Ricky Flick. Bond was set at $5,000.

* Aug. 13 -- Brandon T. Johnson, 18, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen auto parts by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Inman. Bond was set at $4,000.

The Linton Police Department responded over the weekend to one fraud, one follow up investigation, 11 information only requests, one fight, one vandalism, one custody dispute/exchange, two loitering complaints, two personal injury accidents, two property damage accidents, 11 medical/illness runs, two alarms, four animal complaints, one VIN check, six suspicious vehicles/persons, five harassment complaints, two speeding vehicles, one possible intoxicated driver, one reckless driver, one theft-other, one fireworks, three welfare checks/concerns, four domestic disputes, and one abandoned vehicle. They also made 11 traffic stops, provided one funeral escorted, assisted another agency once and provided five extra patrols.

* Aug. 10 -- An employee of Angell's reported receiving a bad check. Patrolman Heath Murray is investigating.

* Aug. 11 -- William E. Scott, 58, North Main Street, Linton, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated by Patrolman Paul Clark.

* Aug. 11 -- Susan K. McDonald, Northeast 12th Street, Linton reported harassing phone calls. Patrolman Chad Crynes took the report.
