Jerry Myer Holloman, 76, Bloomfield passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2007.
He served in the U.S. Army for 26 years -- attaining the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He did one tour in Korea and two combat tours in Vietnam. Among his military decorations were the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, a Bronze Star with an Oak Leaf Cluster and Purple Heart.
After retiring from the military, he worked for Halliburton Oil Field Services for 10 years, then moved to Indiana.
Survivors include: his wife, Aligean Holloman; children, Vicki Munn of Bloomfield, Mike Holloman of San Antonio, TX, Dena Holloman of Bloomington, Cindy Karoly of Biloxi, MS and Theresa Ricker of Panama City, FL; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at Biloxi National Cemetery.
