* Aug. 28 -- Tony I. Gould, 52, Linton, was arrested on a warrant by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Terry Wade. He was released on his own recognisanse and has a court date scheduled for Dec. 19.

* Aug. 28 -- Troy S. Criss, 36, Worthington, was arrested on a warrant by Greene County Sheriff's Department Major Michael Hasler and is being held without bond.



The Linton Police Department responded on Tuesday to one fight, one sex offense, one loitering, three accidents with property damage, one suicide or attempt, one medical/illness, three animal complaints, one prowler, one possible intoxicated driver, one fireworks, and one ordinance violation. They made six traffic stops, one community relations call, two fingerprint services, one assist to the utility department, one assist to another agency, two information only requests and provided one extra patrol.

* Aug. 29 -- Officer Paul Clark reported a burglary at Val-U-Auto, an auto dealer, loacated at SR 54 and 12th St NW, Linton. Entry was through a north window, a money box was missing by unknown suspects who exited through a south door, kicking out a screen. Patrolman Chad Crynes is the investigating officer.
