GREENE COUNTY JAIL LOG

* Aug. 31 -- The Greene County Sheriff's Department responded to a property damage accident at the corner of County Road 600 W and County Road 300 S. Jennifer S. Hupp of Lyons was southbound on CR 600 W in a 1996 Ford and Molly B. Miller of Linton was westbound on CR 300 S in a 1987 Jeep. They collided in the intersection. There was no traffic control signs for southbound traffic on CR 600 W nor was there any for westbund traffic on CR 300 S. The investigating officer was Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Dured L. Townsend who was assisted by Deputy Todd Martin and Lyons Police Chief Ron Sparks.

* Sep. 1 -- John I. Larkin, 40, Terre Haute, was arrested on a warrant from Vigo County by Jasonville Police Officer Danny Keller.

* Sep. 1 -- Brett M. St. Claire, 55, Vincennes, was arrested on a warrant by Greene County Sheriff's Department Reserve Deputy Rick Marques.

* Sep. 1 -- James Gamble, 55, Linton, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Inman. He was released Sep. 1 on $4000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sep. 10.

* Sep. 1 -- Jeffrey A. Price, 31, Greenwood, was arrested on a warrant by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Inman.

* Sep. 2 -- Timothy Y. Gamble, 53, Jasonville, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Inman. He was released Sep. 3 on $4000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sep. 10.

* Sep. 2 -- Johnny P. Nickerson, 21, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant from Vigo County by Jasonville Police Officer Brian Pilant.

* Sep. 3 -- Derek M. Fulford, 25, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant by Jasonville Police Officer Brian Pilant.

LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department responded on Monday to one fraud, two follow-up investigations, two information only, one transport/documentation, two property damage accidents, one lost and found, six medical/illness, one animal complaint, one suspicious vehicle/person, one child abuse/neglect, one theft-other, one disabled/stranded vehicle, one fingerprint-gun permit, one domestic dispute and one ordinance violation.

* Sep. 1 -- Brandon Beverly, Linton, reported the theft of his phone's sim card out of his car while he was inside Taco Bell. Jayson Smith was the investigating officer.

* Sep. 1 -- Kegan B. Surber, 18, Poland, and Lana M. Vandeusen, 37, Route 3, Linton were involved in a property damage accident while exiting the Taco Bell parking lot. When Surber stopped to allow another vehicle to enter the lot, Vandeusen struck the rear of Surber's vehicle. No injuries were reported. Jayson Smith was the investigating officer.

* Sep. 3 -- Rhonda Mason, Route 2, Linton, reported an ATM/debit card was lost at WalMart near the photo lab. Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.

* Sep. 3 -- BP Taylor Oil, SR 54 East, Linton, reported the driver of a black Camaro or Firebird with dark blue and silver around the bottom of the car drove off without paying after pumping $10 of fuel. Paul Clark was the investigating officer.
