The Linton Police Department responded over the weekend to one follow-up investigation, six information-only requests, one juvenile delinquent, one vandalism report, one utility repair, one public intoxication, one brush/fire, two transport/documentations, four personal injury accidents, one property damage accident, four medical/illnesses, one alarm, one animal complaint, two suspicious vehicles/persons, one harassment complaint, three thefts/others, two disabled/stranded vehicles, two welfare check/concerns, one theft-motor vehicle, three 9-1-1 false/prank calls, two domestic disputes, one recovered vehicle/property, one community relations, one open door/garage and one battery. The department also had one assist to another agency, one traffic control, one extra patrol and six traffic stops.
* April 28 -- An employee of BP-Taylor Oil, State Road 54 East, reported the drive-off theft of $40.21 in gasoline. The unknown suspect-- who was driving a white SUV-- drove off at a high rate of speed. Patrol Officer Paul Clark was the investigating officer.
