LINTON POLICE ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department responded on Monday to one check for wanted, two information-only requests, one juvenile delinquent, one drug investigation, one transport/documentation, two missing/runaway juveniles, two property damage accidents, one medical/illness, one animal complaint, one theft-other, one theft-bicycle, one domestic dispute and one recovered vehicle/property. The department also had one school/foot patrol, two assists to other agencies, one extra patrol and three traffic stops.

* April 30 -- Larry Tucker, of rural Linton, reported that his 1999 Chevrolet truck was parked at the Linton Post Office when it was struck by another vehicle. According to the report, the suspect-- who left the scene-- may have been an elderly male who was unaware of the accident. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.

* April 30 -- Dan Leigh, of Linton, reported that his 1995 bulldozer was vandalized when BBs were placed into its valve cover. He also reported a jug of oil was stolen. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.

* April 30 -- An employee of County Muffler, route 2 Linton, reported a business sign was struck by a semi and the driver left the scene. According to the report, the driver-- who is a new employee-- was making a delivery and may have been unaware of the accident. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.

* April 30 -- Lisa Bradley, of 324 NW 10th St., reported that three bicycles were taken from her yard. The incident reportedly occurred sometime over the weekend. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
