Keith D. Handley, 67, Jasonville passed away at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan.
Born Jan. 15, 1940 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of Forest E. and Anne L. (Zeps) Handley.
He was a retired member of the United States Marine Corps where he served two full tours of duty in Vietnam. He worked at Anaonda for eight years. In addition, he owned and operated the Snack-a-Shak Restaurant with his wife, Wanda, whom he married on Jan. 6, 1960. She died April 28, 2000.
He was a member of the Jasonville VFW Post No. 6225, Jasonville American Legion Post No. 172 and the Trinity Lutheran Church in Linton.
Survivors include: his mother, Anne Handley, of Jasonville; sons and daughter in law, Todd D. Handley, of Shelburn, Terry and Cathy Handley of Jasonville, Tim Handley of Jasonville; one brother, David Handley of Jasonville; one sister and brother-in-law Sue adn Ray Girard of Rocky Hills, CN; grandchildren, Krity Satterfield, Randy and Becky Handley and John Dickey; great-grandchildren, Kristlyn and Kayden Satterfield, Dacian, Saber and Broden Handley; Devon and Kelsey Fleenorl and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and wife.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McClannahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. Burial will be in Cass Cemetery at Hymera where military graveside rites will be conducted.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
