The Linton Police Department Tuesday and Wednesday responded to one fraud, one follow up investigation, two information only requests, three custody dispute/exchanges, one transport/documentation, two personal injury accidents, two property injury accidents, two lost and found, two medical/illness runs, eight animal complaints, one harassment complaint, one burglary attempt, two theft-other, one drug overdose, two bicycle thefts, one 911 prank/false call and one abandoned vehicle. They also made one traffic stop and assisted another agency twice.
* May 29 -- A Movie Gallery employee reported that the front lock of the store was pried; however, entry was not gained. No other damage was noted. Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen took the report.
* May 29 -- Jennifer Dyer, Route 2, Linton, reported a bicycle was stolen from her yard. Patrol Officer Keith McDonald took the report.
* May 29 -- Kellie D. Meurer, Northeast E Street, Linton, reported that a bicycle was taken from her home. Approximately 30 minutes after reporting the incident, the bicycle was recovered. Patrolman Paul Clark took the report.
* May 30 -- Sandy Bowman, Route 1, Linton, reported that while Josh Roach and Kerry Slick were mowing on riders, a push mower was taken from a trailer. Reserve officer Kyle Butler took the report.
