The Linton Police Department responded Tuesday to two information-only requests, one vandalism, one transport/documentation, one property damage accident, one lost and found, one mental case, three medical/illnesses, four animal complaints, one suspicious person/vehicle, one harassment complaint, one theft-motor vehicle, two fingerprint-gun permits, one community relation and one battery.
* March 29 -- Kaylee Kincaid, Linton, was riding a bike on the sidewalk near 360 F St. NE when she was bit on the left arm by a dog. The dog was on a leash being walked by a small girl when it leaped up and bit Kincaid -- who suffered two puncture wounds and a scratch to the left upper arm. Rick and Cindy Bunch, Linton, owners of the dog, were ticketed for failure to restrain a dog. The dog will be confined until April 12. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* April 3 -- Jennifer Kincaid reported that a 2003 Chevrolet school bus was sprayed with red paint during the overnight hours. The paint was sprayed on the passenger side of the bus. No other damage was noted. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen is the investigating officer.
