The Linton Police Department responded on Monday to one follow-up investigation, two information-only requests, two property damage accidents, three medical/illnesses, four animal complaints, one harassment complaint, one wanted-arrest on warrant, one domestic dispute and one battery. The department also had one cleaning person on station and three traffic stops.
* April 6 -- A three-car accident resulted after Patty R. Boles, 34, Linton, the driver of a 2005 Ford F-250 was headed south on 11 St. NW and became distracted by her dog -- which jumped on her lap. She then veered off the right side of the road and hit a parked 1996 Ford Econoline. The force of the impact then caused the Econoline to strike a parked 1985 Dodge Ram. A mailbox and trash can were also struck. Patrol Officer Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
