Betty Jo Frye, 80, of Bloomfield passed away at 12:02 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at her residence.
Born Oct. 29, 1926 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of William Lee and Lieuetta (McCain) Hasler.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Mansions in Heaven Church in Bloomfield and a member of the Mineral Ladies Aid.
Survivers include two sons David and wife Connie Frye of Solsberry; Daniel and wife, Mary Frye of Bloomfield; two granddaughters, Christine and husband Kyle Strauser of Converse, Mary Etta and husband Matt Todd of Bloomfield; two grandsons, Charlie and wife Kerri Frye of Bloomfield, Dan and wife Angie Frye of Bloomfield; three great-grandsons, Jesse R. Frye, Wyatt Frye and Hank Todd, all of Bloomfield; four great-granddaughters Katie Strauser and Natalie Strauser, both of Converse, and Emmy Todd and Aubrie Frye, both of Bloomfield; one bother Henry and wife Ruth Hasler of Bloomfield; a sister-in-law Bettie Hasler of Bloomfield; and brother-in-law Robert Miller of Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jesse A. "Bud" Frye on Dec. 2, 1999 who she married on Feb, 16, 1946; one brother Lee Hasler, three sisters Ruth Golson, Barbara Hasler, and Phyllis Miller.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Erin Raper and Pastor Kyle Strauser officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and noon until the hour of service Tuesday.
