Julie Lynn (Franklin) Tanner, 33, of Jasonville, passed away at 6:25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at her residence.
Born July 7, 1973 in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of James L. and Janice K. (Hair) Franklin.
She was a phlebotomist, CNA and medical technician and attended the Lawton Street Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, William J. "Bill" Tanner of Jasonville whom she married on June 4, 2004; her father, James L. Franklin of Jasonville; her mother, Janice K. Franklin of Carbondale, Ill.; two children, Darion Wilson and Noah Wilson, both at home; and two sisters, Jamie (Billy) Simpson of Jasonville and Jannell Franklin and friend, Joan Duncan of Indianapolis; father-in-law Ronald D. Tanner of Indianapolis; mother-in-law, Rose Tanner of Beech Grove; nieces and nephews, James Simpson and Bethany Simpson of Jasonville, Casey Bowmer, Abby Bowmer, and Emma Bowmer of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James "Red" Franklin, Virginia Franklin, Ernie Hair and Violet Hair.
Service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastors Mark Messmer and David Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Darion and Noah Wilson Education Fund through the funeral home or MainSource Bank in Jasonville.
