Margaret (Wright) Zuckschwerdt, 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at her home in rural Bloomfield.
Born June 3, 1939 in Center Township, she was the daughter of Harvey and Hazel (Holtsclaw) Wright
She married Ed Zuckschwerdt on Sept. 17, 1966. They lived and worked on several ranches in Montana, Nebraska, and Colorado for nine years before returning home to Indiana. She was employed for 33 years by the Indiana University School of Medicine as a secretary and an administrative assistant.
She was very active in the Greene County 4-H Clubs for many years, and was a member of the Bloomfield chapter of Tri-Kappa sorority as well as the Cincinnati Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Zuckschwerdt; three sons, Sam Zuckschwerdt, of Bloomfield, Dan Zuckschwerdt, of Monterey, Calif., and Mark Zuckschwerdt of Bloomfield; three grandsons, Leonard, Nathan, and Collin; four brothers, Morris Wright of Bloomington, Dencil Wright of Brandon, Miss., Joe Wright of Bloomfield, and Bob Wright of Arlington; her mother-in-law Margaret Hefly of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; and two brothers, Harvey Wright Jr. and Delbert Wright.
Friends may call at Cincinnati Christian Church from 4-8 p.m. today and from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Glen Stidd and the Rev. Henry Mann Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Ridgeport Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cincinnati Christian Church Community Disaster Fund.
