Mae Williams, 103, of Bloomfield, passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday Feb. 22, 2007 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born June 11, 1903 in West Frankfort, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles and Rosie (Tumbleson) Pertusett.
She was retired as the owner and operaror of Williams Shopping Center in Bloomfield. She was a member of the Eastern Star where she was Past Matron, The Rebecca Lodge, Women's Auxillary and The First Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include: one son James Ross Williams Jr. and his wife Ruth of Dugger; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Ross Williams on Jan. 7, 1973; three daughters, June DeFrees, Marjorie Demaree, and Nettie Hutter; one son Charles Eugene Williams; and her parents.
Services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday at The First Baptist Church in Bloomfield with the Rev. Brent Meyer and the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will follow in Worthington Cemetery
Friends may call at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to The First Baptist Church Building fund.
