Gerald (Wayne) Hasler, 55, of Linton, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2007 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Born in Greene County on Aug. 14, 1951, he was the son of Ralph Lee and Doris J. (Bruner) Hasler.
He was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local No. 546 and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Survivors include his companion, Sue Souders of Linton; his mother, Doris J. Hasler; one son, Michael W. Hasler and companion (Morna Blakely) of Lyons; two grandchildren, Miranda Lea and Rikki Dawn Hasler; and a sister, Jean (Raymond) Lisman of Carlisle; his extended family members, Kim (Scott) Wiesmann and three children and Kenneth (Valerie) Souders and two children; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Hasler in July 1952.
Funeral service will be at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. John Catchem officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Lyons.
Friends may call at the funeral from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. on Tuesday until the hour of service.
