Richard L. "Dick" Osborne, 74, of Worthington passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 2, 1932 in Lucas, Ky., to Clarence Robert and Edna Mae (Peden) Osborne.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was retired from Indianapolis Athletic Club, and also he had been an electrician in Indianapolis and was a member of the American Legion in Worthington.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Smith) Osborne of Worthington; four children, Martha Shaw of Edmonton, Ky., Ann Smith of Glasgow, Ky., Jackie Cloyd of Indianapolis, and Thomas Wolbert Osborne of Oneida, N.Y.; five step-children, Lisa Campbell of Indianapolis, James Cook of Indianapolis, Dennis Cook of Indianapolis, Tracy Cook of Indianapolis and Kathy Davis of Freedom; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington with Jason Russo officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. on Friday until time of service.
