Charles D. Corbin, 76, Kaukauna, Wis., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, after a brief illness.
He was born on Dec. 14, 1930, in Worthington, the son of the late Rush and Martha (Dowell) Corbin. He was a graduate of Indiana University. He was married to Jean Effa and she preceded him in death in 1998.
He was a member of the Masons, American Legion and the Shriners.
Survivors include his children: Joe and Phil of Kaukauna; a twin brother Phillip, Kaukauna; a brother Robert (Helen) of Prescott, Ariz.; sister-in-law Jan (Bob) Brogan, Kaukauna; brother-in-law Jim (Joan) Effa, Seymour; sister-in-law Charlotte (Joe) Weyenberg, Kaukauna; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, at Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna, Wis., with Father Tom Pomeroy officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established for the Fox Valley Humane Association.
