Gladys I. Daniels, 79, of Dugger, passed away at 4:22 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Born June 18, 1927 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Hosea Boone and Pearl Pansy Leckie Boone.
She was as member of the First Christian Church of Dugger and attended the Dugger Senior Citizens Center, and retired as a cook and janitor at Dugger Elementary School after 25 years.
Survivors include: three sons, Terry Daniels of Beaverdam, Va., Joe Daniels and Tony Daniels, both of Dugger; a daughter, LeAnne Daniels of Dugger; a sister Lovenia Bushell, of Evansville; four grandchildren, Chaunsity, Kyle and David Daniels and Tony Joe Storms; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Zack Storms.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Daniels in 1987; and one brother, Harold Boone.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor Joan Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8p.m. today, and before the service Thursday.
