Helen L. Bredeweg, 71, of Linton passed away Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born in Greene County on May 31, 1935, she was the daughter of Gilbert C. and Maggie E. (Harbin) Rose.
On Oct. 23, 1954, she married William H. Bredeweg.
She worked at RCA in Bloomington for eight years, retiring in 1971, and then returned to homemaking. She was a member of the South Linton Church of God.
She is survived by three sons: William "Billy" D. (Linda) Bredeweg and Rodney C. (Rene') Bredeweg both of Linton, and Brian K. (Amanda) Bredeweg of Jasonville; six grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan, Lydia, Elizabeth and Westin Bredeweg and Oakly Pilant, and one sister, Rozella L. Rehmel of Coalmont.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbnd, one sister: Mary C. Dunning, and one brother, Gilbert R. Rose.
Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27 and from noon until the hour of serice Thursday, Dec. 28.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 28 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Russell Black officiating. Burial will follow at German Memory Hill Cemetery in Linton.
