Ronnie W. Coker, 56, of Bloomfield, passed away 10:59 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2006 at his residence.
Born Aug. 17, 1950 at Freeman Hospital in Linton, he was the son of Lester and Nelle (Haywood) Coker.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Switz City Christian Church, and the Sons of the American Legion Bloomfield Post No.196.
Survivors include: one son, Jason S. Coker of Lyons; his mother, Leatrice (Rollins) Coker of Bloomfield; one brother, Terry and his wife Terri ( Wilson) Coker of Bloomfield; sister-in-law, Angela (Sharr) Coker of Bloomfield; five nieces and nephews, Anne (Coker) Pruett, Neil Coker, and Stephanie Graves, all of Bloomington, Elizabeth and Amber Coker both of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nelle (Haywood) Coker in 1951, his father, Lester M. Coker in June 2006, and one brother, Russell Coker in June 2003.
Graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. today at Prairie Chapel cemetery near Lyons with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating.
