Laura Beth Yeryar, 75, of Midland, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born Jan. 4, 1931 in Jasonville, she was the daughter of Dess and Katherine (McCoy) Fougerousse.
She previously worked as a nurse's aide at the Linton hospital and was employed at the Shakamak IGA store in the bakery. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James "Red" Yeryar of Midland; one daughter, Devonna Beth (Paul) Johnson of Midland; and three sons, James H. (Shelia) Yeryar of Midland and John H. (Debbie) Yeryar and Gary D. (Pam) Yeryar, both of Jasonville; and grandchildren Nan West, Greg Kennett, Mandy Simmons, Cheri Griffith, Denise Gambill, Krista Hayes, Brent Yeryar, Jesse Yeryar, Jeremy Jeryar and Jimmy John Yeryar; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children; three brothers, Bob, Tom and Harold Fougerousse.
Services will be 2 p.m. on Friday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville, with Pastor Rony Reyes officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
