Auline S. Cunningham, 99, of Linton, passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
She was born July 8, 1907, in Oblong, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Ollie Bell (Williams) Rieber.
She was a homemaker. She and her husband owned and operated Cunningham Grocery in Linton for several years. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Sullivan.
Survivors include her husband, Clinton Armstrong Cunningham of Linton, three daughters, Patty Maddox of Bloomfield, Sally Vaught of Shelburn, and Judy Ketchem of Avon, nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great grandchildren and three great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by a son, Max Cunningham, April 12, 1993, a brother, Gilbert "Bud" Rieber, and her parents.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
