Ann J. Bickel, 90, Carmel and formerly of Jasonville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1916 to the late John and Rosa Bucka Cichon.
The last year and a half, she lived in her Summertrace apartment at Carmel to be near her family.
Survivors include her children: Mickey (Bob) Adams of Fort Myers, Fla., John (Susan) Bickel of Flora, Elaine (Tom) Green of Carmel, Patti (Larry) Mayfield of Sullivan, and Cathy Hamilton of Salem, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Rhea Dawn Bickel of Rockport; sister, Helen (Lester) Evenson of Rockford, Ill.; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Richard W. Bickel (1981); daughter, Dixie Lee Studebaker; and son, Richard D. Bickel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the K of P Cemetery in Hymera.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to the Trinity Free Clinic, in care of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 145 Oakridge Road, Carmel, Ind., 46032-1118.
