Mildred I. Westfall, 87, of Ellettsville passed away at Bloomington Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006.
She was born in Monroe County on Aug. 20, 1919 to Clarence E. Engledow and Emma Roberts Engledow and was married to George R. Westfall until his passing in 1981.
She worked at Indiana University until her retirement in 1972.
She is survived by her sons, Robert L. Wesfall and his wife Jeannie of Bloomington, Frank E. Westfall and his wife Kay of Springville; daughter, Sherry L. Westfall of Bloomington; sisters, Ruth Turner, Melba Gillum both of Bloomington, and Laverne Robertson of Spencer; grandchildren, Serena Pettyjohn, Scott Westfall, Pam Westfall, and Julie Westfall; and great-grandchildren, Jarrod Westfall, Tyler Westfall, Zackary Westfall, Dylan Workman, Jacob Westfall, Alisha White Sipes, Chelsea Westfall, Emily Pettyjohn, Maggie Pettyjohn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Mary Pope.
Graveside service will be in the Mausoleum Chapel at Valhalla Memory Gardens, on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Villanova officiating.
