Phyllis J. Carmicheal, 74, of Bloomfield passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Nov. 8, 1931 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Herschel and Virginia (Kern) Hollingsworth.
She was a Stanley Home Products Sales Representative for 40 years before her retirement. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Lyons, Do Betters Home Extension Club, Royal Neighbors of America and the Marco Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include: her husband Wayne Carmicheal, of Bloomfield; children Jane (Jim) Dunn, of Glasford, IL, Deborah (Ruhlin) Gregory, of Washington, IL, and Daniel (Judy) Carmicheal, of Lovington, IL; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Matt) Staley, of Trivoli, IL, Jarrod (Haylie) Holmes, of Lafayette, Danelle Holmes, of Pekin, IL, Doug (Amy) Gregory, of Yates City, IL, Kristy (Steve) Pierson, of Bartonville, IL, Angelia (Dale) Johnson, of Trivoli, IL and Jim (Norma) Dunn, of Pekin, IL; nine great grandchildren; five sisters, Cora Alice Underwood, Margaret (Rex) Camden, Carolyn (Merle) Helderman, Beverly Taylor and Linda (Ed) Secrest; two brothers Carl (Sue) Hollingsworth and Dave (Paula) Hollingsworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. (Illinois Time) on Friday at Davison Fulton Funeral Chapel 2021 in Peoria IL. Friends may call from 1p.m. until the hour of service in Peoria.
