Harry Van Emery, 66, of Worthington, passed away Thursday Sept. 14, 2006.
He was born Nov. 24, 1939, in Bloomfield to Virgil and Ruth (Carnegie) Emery.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty, of Worthington, his daughter Tammy, son-in-law Tony, and four grandsons -- Brett, Jordan, Ryan and Nicholas.
He was preceded in death by his only son, Tony Van Emery, his parents, two sisters, one brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and brother-in-law.
He was a pipeline welder in Illinois for 35 years and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No. 597 of Chicago. He loved to weld. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, fishing with his grandsons, and he enjoyed being outdoors.
Private family services will be conducted Saturday with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
