Jane Ann Saunders, 57, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital.
She was born Jan. 22, 1949, in Linton to Bernie Hansford and Norma (Canada) Kirk.
She worked in manufacturing for General Electric, retiring in 2004 after 36 years of service and was a member of Bloomfield First Christian Church.
Survivors include her companion of more than 20 years, David Tatom of Bloomington; one son, Mike Saunders and wife Julie of Indianapolis; her father, Bernie Hansford of Bloomfield; her mother, Norma Kirk of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Peter, Abby and Annie Saunders of Indianapolis; two sisters, Casey Keller and Carolyn Dillman, both of Bloomfield; one nephew, Jason Keller of Fishers; two nieces, Courtney Dillman of Indianapolis and Andrea Dillman of Solsberry and one step-daughter, Dawn Rooney of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostetler, the Rev. Arlen Pope and the Rev. David Wilde presiding. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Bedford.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. on Saturday and one hour prior to service Sunday at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home.
