Edith (Fearnot) Corwin 88, of Solsberry, passed away at 4:45 a.m. on Sunday Aug.13, 2006 at Bell Trace Health and Living Center in Bloomington.
Born April 6, 1918 in Marco, she was the daughter of Harvey and Mayme (Burch) Fearnot.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Solsberry United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a graduate of Marco High School.
Survivors include: one son, Ronald Max and his wife Lynn Corwin of Solsberry; one grandson, David Martin Corwin of Springville; one granddaughter, Julia M. Corwin of Bloomington; two great granddaughters, Amanda Dawn and Alisha Delynn Corwin both of Springville; and one great grandson, Aaron David Corwin of Springville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred W. Corwin, whom she married on July 4, 1939, one sister, Lula Leach, and one brother, Garland Fearnot.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and the Rev. Ed Beadle officiating. Burial will be in Solsberry Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home.
